I did a field test on the new Nikon D3000 and I can say I just love this no-brainer, light and handy DSLR especially the miniature effect which you can do on the fly on the camera.

Miniature Effect - is about manipulating a life-size location or object is so that it looks like a photograph of a miniature scale model.

Yeah, I haven't thought of that idea pero I'll just try. Kay usually this miniature effect works very well if your photo is taken from a higher angle than your subject to simulate the scale model effect. But I'll try taking some people shots from a higher angle and see the effects Smiley

@RR Will just update this post as soon as I can.

@Leonard yep Lensbabies can do this. But this is a built-in feature of the new Nikon D3000. So no need to buy an extra lensbaby lens then Smiley

Yeah. Bought it for my brother but I still have it with me for exploring. You should explore more the features of this camera for you'll be surprised on the things it can do Smiley
